Pozega is situated 180 km away from Belgrade, between Cacak and Uzice. In a nice valley surrounded by three rivers: Skrapez, Detinja and Moravica, that gather the river of West Morava and 40 km from the mountains Divcibare, Zlatibor and Tara. The Pozega region as at the altitude of 310 – 900 m. The town is a relevant road and railroad crossroad, as well as one of the most important points I a soon to come Montenegro highway. Also, it is a regional crossroad to Kosjerić and Valjevo, Arilje and Ivanjica, as well as an important railroad knot: Belgrade – Bar, Cacak – Kraljevo – Nis.

The Pozega Hotel has the largest accommodation capacity in the Pozega region and it is situated in the very centre of the town. It officialy opened its doors in 1983. It has a national quizine restaurant, seminar hall and a disco club. It has 120 beds in apartments, single rooms double and triple.

Ever since its privatisation in 2003, it’s been intensively reconstructed, earning better classification and, of course, providing better services for its guests. Polite staff and well known Serbian hospitality are almost trademarks of this region.
